Here we will show the typical installation of the spring isolators on
the springs and into the car.
This install does not cover all steps needed to remove and reinstall
the springs.
Please refer to you shop manuals for specifics on that.
When you are ready to install the spring isolators test fit them
first.
You will see the new polyurethane spring isolators tend to pop off
the end of the spring.
You will need to trim the end of the spring coil to allow it to fit
inside the isolator.
Any grinding wheel works great to trim the corner. Apply some paint
to the area afterwards to prevent rust.
The Black Springs shown here were repainted Silver.
Once you have the spring coils trimmed to fit inside the isolators you can apply the grease to the isolators.
