MN12 Performance Inc. Polyurethane ARC Shock Mount Kit Install
Installation:
From inside the car pull rear carpet back to expose the ARC electronic actuator.
Disconnect the ARC electronic actuator.
Then using a 18mm deep socket remove the nut and cupped washer.
Remove the upper rubber isolator from the shock. Repeat for the other side.
Next
Jack up the rear and support.
Then remove the wheels.
Remove the shock lower bolt to lower control arm and remove the shock. Repeat for the other side.
Once the shocks are out examine them for leaks or damage.
Next
Remove the lower shock eye metal sleeve from the bushing. Save the sleeve it will be reused.
4 new polyurethane bushings are included for the lower shock eyes. 2 per side.
Insert the metal sleeve into one of the new bushings and insert into the lower shock eye.
Then insert another bushing on the other side. A soft hammer can be used to seat the bushings in the lower eye.
Repeat procedure for the other shock.
Next
Before reinstalling the shock insert lower bushing into the shock mounting hole as shown.
Bushing will stay in place.
Then insert the shock.
Reconnect the shock to lower control arm bolt and tighten. Repeat procedure for other side.
Next
From inside the car install round bushing over the shock then add 9/16" washer provided.
Center the washer over the shock sleeve as shown.
Then install ARC cupped washer and tighten nut down until it stops.
Reconnect the ARC electronic actuator. Repeat for other side.
Reinstall wheels and lower the car.
