Once the sway bar with endlinks are removed from the car you will need to remove the endlinks from the sway bar.

Next remove the nut and bolt holding the endlink together.

You will need to press the rubber bushing out from the eye.

Remove any leftover rubber and clean the inside of the eye out.

Two different size endlinks came on the car. 1989-1995 SC and 5.0L cars had the larger 3/4" wide endlinks. 1989-1997 3.8L and 4.6L cars had smaller 5/8" wide endlinks. Both are interchangable with any of the OEM sway bars. Inspect the endlinks for any signs of damage. If the endlink cannot be reused Moog Chassis Parts sells replacement ones part number K8641.

Note: All 5/8" endlink kits reuse the OEM center sleeve. 3/4" endlink kits come with replacement center sleeves.

Installation of the polyurethane bushings are the same for both size endlink kits.

Apply grease (supplied in the kit) to the outside of the sleeve & bushings then to the inside of the eye.
Also add grease between the ends of the bushing and the inside of the arms.
Insert the bushing with sleeve in one end of the eye. Then insert the other bushing.
You may need to spread the two endlink arms apart to get it over the new bushings.

Note: If the bushing keep backing out the eye check the inside of the eye for rust buildup
or if you cannot get the center sleeve through both bushings. Using sand paper smooth out the
inside of the eye then clean and try again.

After you get the endlink arms over the bushings install the bolt and nut.

Next remove the OEM sway bar bushings and clean and inspect rear sway bar for signs of damage before installing new polyurethane bushings.
Apply grease to the sway bar at the factory bushing location. Slide the new polyurethane bushing over the sway bar.

Note: You may want to open the sway bar bushing up and add extra grease directly to the bushings.
Twist the bushing around the bar to ensure grease has lubricated the inside of the bushing.

Next install the endlink back on the sway bar. Move the endlink back and forth to verify no binding.
The endlink should be tight but not binding. Procedure is the same for both sides.

Kit comes with two yellow zinc washers.
One per side installed on the lower end of the endlink under the lower control arm.
